Design 2: Inhabit 2: Original design

I started off by attempting to recreate my design from my last Inhabit project. Light tubes and lasers, with the lasers being "phantoms" so people are able to walk through it. I started developing it by creating an invisible wall (black box in image) blocking the big entrance (shaded in red in image), as that is the obvious path to go through. It will be ironic how people are able to walk through the "door frame" but not the actual "door". This hopefully generates a space of creativity to allow people to be more creative and try different things when passing through my design.

My design is flexible to be located anywhere so I just temporarily built it beside the study area on Level 1.

My philosophy is to allow people to be more creative by generating opportunities for them to experience something different.

I am collaborating with Hyun Min Kim (Caffeinny Cheri). Started adding rods around her green panels. Made the rods green as well to show our collaboration. Experimented with the same idea of being unable to go through the open area by placing an invisible in front of it. Left the rods glowing, hoping that others will notice it and attempt to go through it.
